Bulky Items
There are many options for disposing of bulky items such as a sofa, chair, mattress, kitchen appliance, electronics, etc.
Curbside Bulky Item Pickup
For residents that have existing curbside trash and recycling through the City's trash provider, please contact Republic Services at 952-941-5174 to make arrangements for bulky items to be picked up. There is an additional charge for this service, billed through Republic. Click to view the price list, or access the bulky items price sheet attachment below.
City Cleanup Days
The City holds a spring and a fall cleanup day where residents of White Bear Lake can dispose of unwanted items. Household hazardous waste and yard waste is not accepted. These are held every first Saturday in May and every first Saturday in October each year.
Donations
Do you have furniture, small appliances, electronics, clothing, or other household items that are reusable? Consider dropping off your reusable items at a local thrift store, consignment shop, or another charity.
White Bear Lake has a Goodwill drop-off location that takes reusable items in good condition such as clothes, books, sporting goods, housewares, and furniture. Click for a map to Goodwill in White Bear Lake, or contact them at 651-426-0824.
Trash to Treasure Day
The City of White Bear Lake and White Bear Township partner each year to offer Trash to Treasure Day on the last Saturday in April. Residents can place reusable items they no longer want at the end of their driveways. Treasure hunters have the opportunity to pick up these items for free.
