The City of White Bear Lake won Minnesota's Monthly:  Top 10 Best MN Towns contest!

Other top 10 finalists as chosen by the editorial team of Minnesota Monthly were:  Eden Prairie, Fergus Falls, Little Falls, New Ulm, Northfield, Roseville, St. Cloud, Wabasha and Waconia. Votes from the public made up 25% of the score for each finalist, with 75% coming from a panel of notable Minnesotans.

What does this mean?  Fame, notoriety and best of all, A PARTY IN WHITE BEAR LAKE!  A community ice-cream social will be held at West Park on July 4 from 8pm - 10pm.  Free ice cream for the first 500 people with special thanks to MN Monthly, Cup-N-Cone and Explore White Bear.
