Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of White Bear Lake will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at or after 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers to consider the adoption of a proposed ordinance establishing a fee schedule for services, penalties, permits and licenses of the City of White Bear Lake. All persons who desire to be heard on these matters will be given the opportunity at this meeting, or people may submit written comment to clerk@whitebearlake.org. 

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of White Bear Lake will meet on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at or after 7:00 p.m., at the City Hall,, in part to hold a public hearing concerning (1) the issuance of general obligation bonds (the “Bonds”) in one or more series, in an amount not to exceed $14,315,000 to finance capital improvements within the City; and (2) the proposal to adopt a capital improvement plan for 2022 through 2026 pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.521.

If a petition requesting a vote on the issuance of the Bonds, signed by voters equal to five percent of the votes cast in the City in the last municipal general election, is filed with the City Clerk within 30 days after the public hearing (i.e., by January 14, 2022), the City may issue the Bonds only after obtaining approval of a majority of voters voting on the question at an election.

A copy of the plan is available for inspection in the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall.  Question or comments may be directed to the City Finance Director’s Office at 651-429-8517.  All interested persons may appear and be heard at the public hearing either orally or in writing, or may file written comments with the City Clerk before the hearing.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of White Bear Lake will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at or after 7:00 p.m. to consider the adoption of the following proposed ordinance:  an amendment to the Sign Code at Section 1202.040, Subd.2 to allow billboards. All interested persons may appear and be heard at the public hearing either orally or in writing, or may file written comments with the City Clerk before the hearing.
