The last rebate applications will be accepted on July 1, 2024.

The Metropolitan Council, through funding from the Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment, has awarded the City of White Bear Lake a water efficiency grant with the goal of reducing water consumption.  As a result, the City is providing up to $200 in rebates to water utility customers who replace existing high-flow toilets with WaterSense Certified toilets that flush 1.28 gallons of water or less.  Follow this link to check your product for the WaterSense Certification, or simply look for the WaterSense Label on your product.

Qualifying toilets:

  1. WaterSense labeled AND flush 1.28 gallons or less.
  2. Purchased July 28, 2023 - June 30, 2024, or until funding runs out, whichever comes first.
  3. Installed in single-family homes on the City's water utility with non-delinquent utility accounts.
  4. This grant does not apply to new construction projects, only replacement toilets qualify.
  5. Receipt of purchase showing the model and cost of the toilet(s), date of purchase and reflect payment. Please do not send packing slips, pictures of toilets, cardboard cut outs, etc.  A receipt of purchase is required.

Complete the webform below to apply for your rebate up to $200 for the cost of the qualifying toilet, not including tax or installation.  Each residence may rebate up to two toilets.  Rebate applications must be received by no later than July 1, 2024.  Please direct questions to cvermeersch@whitebearlake.org or call 651-429-8531.
